LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities say 11 people were injured when the church van they were in was struck by an allegedly drunk driver in Los Angeles.
Police Officer Norma Eisenman said a black BMW collided with the white Ford van near Koreatown early Saturday.
The 11 passengers in the van complained of minor injuries, but none were life-threatening, she said.
The driver of the van was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, a felony. The suspect’s name was not released.
Eisenman could not confirm TV news reports that the van was from New Life Vision Church in Arlington Heights.

The headline reads, van struck by drunk driver, the story say’s, driver of van arrested for drunk driving, so which is it?
This story would’ve made more sense to me if there had been a van full of Rainbow Coalition members. It IS Los Angeles, remember.
