SEAL BEACH (CBS) — The site of Orange County’s deadliest shooting is scheduled to reopen later this year.

The owner of Salon Meritage, Sandy Fannin, says she will be back in business this summer after extensive remodeling.

Last October, a gunman opened fire inside the salon, killing eight people, including Fannin’s husband, Randy .

Scott Dekraai, 43, pleaded not guilty to eight counts of murder and one count of attempted murder in connection with the massacre last month.

If convicted, he could face the death penalty.
