Writer Dave Barry is right when he asks: ”Seriously, what did we do before the internet?” The pastime of  “breading” combines poking a hole in the middle of a piece of bread, sticking it over your cat’s head, and posting a picture online.

Instructions include making sure the bread fits comfortably, and don’t forget to make the hole big enough to also go around your cat’s ears. Look, I like cats as much as the next guy (insert photo of rolling eyes here. -Ed.), but I wonder if this borders on some kind of  animal cruelty. If nothing else, these cats are being robbed of their dignity.
