DuBois, Loyola-Marymount Defeat Pepperdine 67-57

LOS ANGELES (AP) Jarred DuBois continued his comeback from a concussion with 14 points Thursday night as Loyola-Marymount defeated Pepperdine 67-57.

DuBois, who missed three games after suffering a concussion on Jan. 7, was coming off a season-high 18-point game Tuesday night that included the game-winning 3-pointer with 17 seconds left against Portland. On Thursday he came off the bench to hit 5 of 9 shots, go 4 for 4 from the free-throw line and contribute four assists.

LaRon Armstead also had 14 points for the Lions (14-9, 7-3 West Coast), who have won four of their last five games.

Taylor Darby scored 18 points and Joshua Lowery 11 for Pepperdine (8-14, 2-9), which hit just 2 of 15 3-point attempts and shot 38 percent overall from the floor.

C.J. Blackwell hit a pair of 3-pointers during a 9-2 run that put Loyola-Marymount ahead for good, 18-12 in the first half.
