2 Reportedly Shot Inside Popular Thai Restaurant In Hollywood
HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — A woman was fatally shot and her male companion wounded inside a popular Thai eatery in Hollywood.
The shooting occurred inside the Pink Pepper, located at 1638 North La Brea Ave, Hollywood Boulevard at La Brea.
Witnesses said three shots were heard near the patio area.
Police said this was not a robbery.
The shooting was reported at 10:17 p.m., according to Los Angeles Police Officer Norma Eisenman.
Firefighters transferred the man and woman shot to area hospitals. They reportedly performed CPR on the woman at the scene.
The woman died of her wounds and the man was expected to survive after undergoing surgery.
Police said the suspects are two male black adults wearing dark clothing and hoodies. Both men are described as 6 Feet tall and 200 pounds. They reportedly fled in a black sedan.
City News Service described the victims as a man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s.
