3 Hurt After SUV Slams Into Burbank Bus Stop

BURBANK (CBS) — Three pedestrians were hurt Monday when a compact SUV veered into a Burbank bus stop.

One person was in serious condition after the vehicle jumped the sidewalk right in front of the Glenoaks Boulevard stop, according to Brian Humphrey of LA City Fire.

A man standing near the scene said the rainy conditions were behind the crash.

"The car hydroplaned and ran over two people right here," one witness told KCAL9. "He was ooing about 25, 30 miles per hour on the turn...he just hydroplaned."

Two other people were treated with minor injuries.

The official cause of the crash is unknown, Humphrey said.
