LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A man was recovering Sunday after being shot in the shoulder while he sat in his car at a red light in South Los Angeles.
The incident in the 8400 block of Avalon Boulevard occurred about 9:45 p.m. Saturday, Los Angeles police Officer Roger Aguirre said.
The driver was stopped at a red light when a car carrying a gunman rolled up alongside, Aguirre said.
The victim, whose name has been withheld, was hospitalized. His current condition was unknown but Aguirre said he had stable vital signs.
