ALHAMBRA (CBS) — A bomb threat was called into Alhambra High School Friday but was later determined not to be a credible threat.
The threat was called in just before noon to the school at 101 South Second Street.
According to officials, a school resource officer alerted the threat to Alhambra police and the school was placed on lockdown.
Students and staff were later moved to the high schools’ track field as police searched the school for an explosive device, officials said.
Students were permitted back onto the campus at shortly past 2:30 p.m.
