ACTON (CBS) — A brush fire erupted Monday afternoon near the intersection of Bent Spur Road and Briar Glen Road, south of Acton.

The fire was reported just after 1 p.m. It burned five acres on top of a hillside before Los Angeles County Firefighters knocked it down.

Firefighters made air drops from two helicopters over the light-to-medium brush.

No structures were threatened, and no one was injured.
