5 Injured - 2 Children Critically - In Murrieta SUV Rollover Crash

MURRIETA (CBS) — Five people were injured -- two children critically -- when the SUV they were riding in overturned on Interstate 15 in Murrieta, the California Highway Patrol said Sunday.

The SUV went over a concrete divider, flipped and came to rest in the center median shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday near the Murrieta Hot Springs Road offramp, according to the CHP.

According to a Murrieta fire official, two critically injured children were taken to Inland Valley Regional Medical Center in Wildomar and one adult and two other children suffered moderate injuries and were taken to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido.
