GORMAN (AP) — It took firefighters less than 45 minutes to put out a 1.5-acre brush fire in Gorman.

Los Angeles County Fire Department Inspector Quvondo Johnson says fire was reported at 11:48 a.m. Thursday on Davidson Ranch and Copco roads.

Johnson says the county sent 115 firefighters and Angeles National Forest also sent crews.

Johnson says by 12:26 p.m., the fire in medium brush was out.

He says there were no injuries and no structures burned.

The cause is under investigation.
