SANTA ANITA (CBS) — Monday marked the opening of the Santa Anita Park’s 75th winter/spring meeting.
The meeting will feature the world’s best thoroughbred horse racing action.
But opening day’s biggest deal is the $300,000 Malibu stakes.
Training hours began early Monday but live racing begins at noon.

wg//af, who is a coward, turns away from fear and a brave person faces fear even if left standing alone. To have the courage to be one’s self , is more admirable than the easy cowardice to surrender to the cow mentality of the crowd, a trait which wg/af knows well.
