3.1-Magnitude Earthquake Rattles Riverside County
DESERT HOT SPRINGS (CBS) — A small earthquake struck northern Riverside County Monday close to the San Bernardino County line, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The 3.1-magnitude temblor hit at 4:32 a.m. Its epicenter was eight miles south of Joshua Tree in San Bernardino County and 11 miles east-northeast of Desert Hot Springs, according to a preliminary reports.
There have been no reports of injuries or damage.
