Teen Suspected In Murrieta Triple Stabbing Behind Bars

MURRIETA (CBS) — A teen suspected in a deadly stabbing in a quiet Riverside community is behind bars.

Police Saturday announced the arrest of 19-year-old William Gary Simpson in a predawn attack this week at a Murrieta home.

Murrieta police Sgt. John Flavin said Simpson was arrested about 9 p.m. Friday at his mother’s home in the High Desert area of San Bernardino County.

According to Flavin, the teen was brought back to Riverside County and has been booked for murder and attempted murder.

The attack occurred about 4 a.m. Tuesday at 40025 Milkwood Lane.

Saskia Burke, 18, died at the scene, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau.

A 17 year-old boy and a 48-year-old man were stabbed multiple times and were hospitalized in critical condition.

Two other occupants of the residence, a juvenile and an adult, were not harmed.

Anyone with more information on the case was urged to call Murrieta police at (951) 696-3615.

I am so glad they caught this COWARD!!! He needs to sit behind bars where he belongs for the rest of his life!!! I know it will not bring back the Burkes daughter but it will put some peace of mind to rest, and my hearts and prayers go out to the Burkes family, and I hope this COWARD rots,

How is the white man putting down the black man here? The black man here killed a black sister, no whites here. Once a gain it just shows you can move from the hood to sleepy hollow and still bring the hood with you. Its time for them to learn that until they change how they attack, the rest of the people wont change the way they are seen. As MJ said, start with the man in mirror.
