Former Santa Clarita Building Inspector Pleads Guilty To Accepting Bribe

SANTA CLARITA (CBS) — A former Santa Clarita city building inspector pleaded guilty Tuesday to accepting a bribe.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge David Horwitz immediately sentenced Craig Allen Ingraham, 59, to five years probation and 750 hours of community service, according to Deputy District Attorney Sean Hassett.

The judge also ordered Ingraham to pay $32,000 in restitution and suspended a two-year state prison term, which Ingraham will not have to serve if he complies with the terms of his probation.

Seven other charges against him were dismissed as a result of his plea.

Ingraham no longer works for the city.
