LAKE VIEW TERRACE (CBS) — A man shot dead Saturday in the hills near Kagel Canyon has been identified as Robert Wayne Hendrix, according to the coroner’s office.

The shooting occurred just after 3:40 a.m. in the 11900 block of West Trail.

Detectives said a woman reported hearing gunshots next door. She went to check on her neighbor and found his front door open. He was lying on the floor suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The 38-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have asked that anyone with information about the incident contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Corrupt DEA where stealing drugs from evidence vaults and reselling them to cover extensive credit card debt.
They also are creating suspects by planting evidence just so that they can steal from them.
Given the choice of suspension or dealing with their debt most DEA are thinking outside the box.

The guy who was shoot was a long time family friend this is a tragic loss he was a great person and will be missed

um seems he was not THAT GREAT if someone shot him to death in his own home what was he involved in that put him in contact with someone who would shot him to death?? and don’t try to say NOTHING people do not get shot down like this in their home with out being involved in or with something only possible way to get wasted in your own home and have it not be because you were doing something stupid is a domestic deal and if it was thought to be domestic the article would likely say so

i agree with cruz. my husband was a police officer for 30 years and in that time saw MANY cases like this and in EVERY CASE the dead person was involved in things like BUSINESS DEAL GONE BAD
DRUIGS
THEFT
FENCING STOLEN GOODS
and a any number of other less then legal activites
or maybe he did something to someone and really ticked them off and they did this NO it does not JUSTIFY killing him but in 30 years on the force my husband says he never saw one single shooting death that the victim did not in some way cause for them self (excluding drive bys and such)

NOBODY is perfect…..but how sad you feel the need to make his family and friends feel so terrible at a time like this…….I can only equate this to a police officer getting shot and people talking about “how corrupt they all are”……
(although that is NOT my opinion on police officers)….I don’t think you would appreciate someone making that comment….right?

Police are investigating… Stop the hypothesis’. Your two cents are only hurting the people he’s left behind. Essentially, he was a good guy who would have given any friend of family the shirt off his back. He didn’t do anything to YOU. Yeah… What ever his lifestyle was, likely got him where he is. But let’s not beat that dog right now, PLEASE! His friends and family are heartbroken that it’s ended like this. So stop all the badgering and bad mouthing! This was HIS ending. Let’s have a little class; have respect for his family and friends who cared about him!!! THEY get to struggle with this now.

Excuse me? Who are YOU to judge whether ANYONE is good or not or deserve something like this? YOU are a GREAT example of someone who deserves every single bit of pain && suffering that is even imaginable && beyond.
At least we all know that if something were to happen to you, we could tell your loved ones “ya well, he obviously deserved it someway or another”

You people make me sick u didnt even know him and youre talking bad about him.That was my homeboy he was a good person and there are alot of us who loved and cared deeply about him so can you haters please not comment or put your negative opinions about my friend its none of your concern just know that there are dangerous people running around with guns and it could of been you or someone you loved so think twice before you speak on it

You guys are unbelievable, haven’t you ever heard of “Home Invasion Robbery” ? The man was sitting home by himself…. These Punks came in shot him 3 times in the chest in cold blood… They have three people in custody for 187 Murder. We’ll see what happens in court. So the junk pouring out of that hole in your face is just your version of human waste.
