Rose Bowl Revenue or the Safety and Security of Residents?
I appreciate the fact that Edison keeps the news media updated on their outages and has created distribution centers for flashlights, water and ice. However, we are not hearing from the City of Pasadena and how a couple of hundred residents in “isolated pockets” have not had power restored and the city cannot even give us a timeframe for power restoration. To the “isolated” it seems as if all the attention is being given to Colorado Blvd (parade route and retail mecca) and many upscale neighborhoods. It has been five night and five days and counting and we get only one posting daily on the City’s website. Calling the City’s water and power numbers results in even more frustration. I invite Channel 2 to get a list of the isoslated pockets from the City and contact some of us. If you want to come into our homes be sure to bring your snow gear.
