GRANADA HILLS (CBS) — A 63-year-old man suffered non-life threatening burns during a garage fire at a home in Granada Hills, a fire official said.
Matt Spence of the Los Angeles City Fire Department said over two dozen firefighters were dispatched to a home in the 11900 block of North Salem Drive about 11:39 a.m. Sunday.
It took crews about 15 minutes to extinguish the blaze, according to officials.
The man was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills with first and second degree burns.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
A damage estimate was not immediately available.
