SUN VALLEY (CBS) — A group of Sun Valley neighbors will distribute as many as 300 Thanksgiving meals to those in need Thursday.

“We are preparing hot meals for people out there looking for jobs,” Rosario Cuellar told CBS2. “We just go to corners and give people a meal.”

The group has prepared six turkeys and all the fixings, which will be distributed throughout the day.

They say there are an abundance of day laborers in the area looking for work over the holiday weekend.
