LOS ANGELES (CBS) — All marijuana dispensaries could soon be banned in the city of Los Angeles.

City councilman Jose Huizar is expected to propose repealing the city’s medical marijuana ordinance Wednesday and completely ban all pot dispensaries.

KNX 1070′s Pete Demetriou reports.

The proposal comes after nearly four years of trying to craft regulations that would limit, but allow them to exist in the city.

Huizar’s motion would repeal city laws limiting the number of dispensaries until courts settle the issue. The proposal will not be voted on by the council for at least two months.

The Cartels have set up shop right here in California. They have started growing their own kush. Imported cheap brick weed will remain the same. It ships to the midwest and other parts of the country where they make money off of it.

Marijuana is a completely harmless substance. We aren’t telling the truth about pot and it is just ridiculous. Pot has so many more benefits than negative side-effects its not even comparable. It is a natural plant that grows on the same earth we do. To make a plant illegal, and make the act of smoking it, which harms no one at all, illegal, is just complete blasphemy. I hope one day we will open our minds and pot will be legalized. Do you believe marijuana will ever be legal worldwide?
