THERMAL (CBS) — Authorities were investigating a fatal collision near Thermal.

The fiery crash occurred about 11:25 p.m. Saturday on Route 111 at Avenue 62 between Mecca and Thermal, the county fire department confirmed.

According to authorities, two occupants in a vehicle were killed after crashing into a truck. The driver in that truck was not injured.

No other information was immediately made available.
