(CBS) —  UCLA has suspended their leading scorer from last year, Reeves Nelson for multiple issues with his attitude.

Nelson was a no-show at Monday’s practice and Howland spoke to his junior forward on the phone.

Howland will meet with Nelson to determine how long he will be suspended.

UCLA (0-1) will look for their first win of the season on Tuesday night when they host the Blue Raiders from Middle Tennessee State.

Nelson scored 13 points in UCLA’s loss to Loyola Marymount.
