WILDOMAR (CBS) — A 21-year-old man is behind bars on suspicion of driving under the influence following a crash in Wildomar.

The single-vehicle wreck in the 23000 block of Catt Road was reported to authorities about 2:31 a.m. Sunday.

According to Wildomar police, Karl Rohlin was traveling east on Catt Road when he drove his 2002 red Mercury Mountaineer onto a sidewalk and struck a cement light pole.

Following an investigation, police said Rohlin was placed under arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence.
