Ryan Doumit Turns Down Dodgers Offer
(CBS) -- The Los Angeles Times is reporting, Ryan Doumit has turned down a one-year, $3 million deal to sign with the Dodgers.
Doumit hit .303 with 8 homers, in 210 at-bats for the Pirates in 2010. He made $5.2 million in 2010.
The team appears set to go with rookie Tim Federowicz behind the plate, but would like to add some depth behind the plate. Rod Barajas signed with Pittsburgh last week.
