Jamey Carroll Gets $7 Million From Twins

(CBS) -- Jamey Carroll is leaving the Los Angeles Dodgers for a nice payday in Minnesota.

According to multiple reports, Carroll has agreed to a 2-year, $7 million deal to be the starting SS for the Twins.

In 146 games for the Dodgers in 2010, Carroll hit .290,  with 0 homers and 17 RBI in 452 at-bats, primarily playing for the injured and ineffective Juan Uribe.

On Thursday, Rod Barajas left the Dodgers to play for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
