Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Nov. 9)

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Wednesday will bring pleasant weather for the middle of this work week.

It will be a cold start to the day, however. Frost advisories and freeze warnings are in place Wednesday morning so bundle up.

Temperatures are running near average, look for middle 70s and a few places where highs will reach the low 80s.

High pressure building will give us sunny skies. With the sunshine does come an offshore flow that will produce gusty winds later Wednesday evening.

For the extended forecast, look for the possibility of rain late Friday extending into Saturday. It could be a decent rainmaker as we tap into a southerly flow of moisture. The Southland will be dry on Sunday and Monday.

Coastal -low 70s
Basin - mid 70s
Valleys - mid 70s
Mountains - mid 40s
Deserts - mid 60s
