LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Metro is expanding its rail service in hopes of bringing more riders to downtown Los Angeles.
Starting Sunday, Nov. 13, some trains will run every 10 minutes between 6 p.m. and 12 a.m., seven days a week. They currently run every 20 minutes.
The additional trains will run on the red, purple and blue lines.
Metro will have to hire more drivers to accommodate the new schedule, but the MTA says additional costs will be within the system’s budget.
