2 At Large Following Attempted Home Invasion Robbery In Menifee

MENIFEE (CBS) — Authorities were on the hunt for two men suspected in an attempted home invasion robbery in Menifee.

The incident occurred on Nov. 1, about 9:17 p.m. when officials say the two men tried to grab a 53-year-old woman who was sitting on her front porch in the 26000 block of Rancho Serena Street in Menifee, sheriff's Sgt. Lisa McConnell said.

According to McConnell, the victim got loose and ran into the yard while the suspects escaped in a dark-colored sport utility vehicle. She was uninjured.

Both suspects were described by authorities as black males with dark eyes and dark hair.

The first is between 35 to 45 years of age. He is 6'00" with a chunky build and was last seen wearing dark pants and a dark hooded sweatshirt.

The second suspect is believed to be between 25 to 35 years of age. He is 5'10" with an average build and was last seen wearing dark pants and a dark hooded sweatshirt.
