STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Victoria Harrison of LA Animal Services visited the KCAL 9 studios Friday to talk about the Trick-or-Treat for Homeless Pets event aimed at helping dogs and cats in need.
The fundraiser is going on now through Monday, Oct. 31.
People can help homeless pets in three ways:
1. Go Door-to-Door: Take the orange donation box door-to-door on Halloween, collecting funds alongside your candy in a special container just for homeless pets! (Just 10-cents provides a cat or dog with food for one day!)
2. Have a Fundraiser: Plan a fundraiser with your friends, family, school, faith or community groups and co-workers, – have a great time and help animals in need!
3. Throw a Party: Host a Halloween party to benefit homeless pets — anything from a costume soiree to a dessert potluck. Isn’t helping Homeless Pets reason enough to celebrate?
