LOS ANGELES (CBS) – Two former Serra High School Standouts, Robert Woods (WR) and George Farmer (RB/WR) sat out of USC practice Thursday.
“Robert Woods did not do much at all,” USC coach Lane Kiffin told reporters. “So I obviously hope to have everybody there, especially with Robert and (WR) George (Farmer) that changes a lot of plans on special teams and offense.”
Woods has been battling ankle injuries all week. He missed Tuesday’s practice as well, but practiced Wednesday, wearing the yellow non-contact jersey
Woods, listed at 180-pounds, has been catching a lot of balls behind or right at the line of scrimmage, leaving him very vulnerable to injuries.
Farmer continued to sit out practice after sustaining an ankle injury, Tuesday.
Both are questionable for Saturday’s big match up against No. 4 Stanford.
