Lakers Get Bumped From Staples Center For Kanye, Jay-Z
(CBS) -- Jay-Z and Kanye West have been given an extra night at Staples Center on December 13th, canceling the Lakers home game against the Toronto Raptors.
The NBA hasn't canceled December games yet, but the league gave Staples Center the green light to book the arena for another event.
According to a statement from the NBA: "With the cancellation of the first two weeks of the season, the NBA schedule would have to be reworked and certain dates -- including Dec 13 for a Lakers game at Staples Center -- would not be part of any revised schedule. "
