Obama Presents Local Marine With Purple Heart

RANCHO CUCAMONGA (CBS) — President Obama presented a local Marine with a Purple Heart medal after he got badly wounded by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.

Corporal Justin Crabbe was injured on Aug. 26 when his team ran into an improvised explosive device while on patrol. The blast caused Crabbe to lose both legs above his knees and several fingers.

"He has the best attitude you can ask for -- he wants to get going," said Crabbe's cousin Chris Watson.
