Van Sant Reveals Secrets Behind 48 Hours Special: 'Amanda Knox: The Untold Story'

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Less than a week after her acquittal and release, 48 Hours will be airing a special Saturday night called, "Amanda Knox: The Untold Story."

48 Hours correspondent Peter Van Sant talked with KCAL 9 live Friday about the special. He has spent the last several days in Seattle covering Knox's homecoming. Van Sant has covered the 24-year-old's case since the beginning.

The special will include exclusive video diaries that will shed light on Amanda's life in prison and key interviews with people who speak about the legal issues Amanda and her former boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito still face – as well as what Amanda's next moves will be.

"Amanda Knox: The Untold Story" will air on CBS2 on Saturday at 1o p.m.
