Long Beach Man, 44, Found Guilty Of Shooting Nephew To Death

LONG BEACH (CBS) —  A Long Beach man has been found guilty of the 2006 shooting death of his nephew.

Darrell Rucker, 44, was found guilty late Thursday of voluntary manslaughter in the slaying of 19-year-old Malcolm Youngblood, according to court personnel.

Rucker will be sentenced next month in Long Beach Superior Court.

It was Rucker's second trial. Rucker's original murder conviction was overturned last year by a state appeals court panel, which ruled that he did not get a fair trial.
