Drivers Beware! Pasadena Police To Target Speeders Starting Next Week
PASADENA (CBS) — Starting next week, police are expected to target speeders as part of a concentrated enforcement program.
The citywide "Speed Enforcement Program" is scheduled to begin Monday and will run between 6 a.m. and midnight, Pasadena police Lt. Randell Taylor said.
"This program is an effective tool in educating the public regarding safer driving habits," Taylor said. "The Pasadena police is committed to reducing the number of traffic collisions and injuries resulting from speeding."
Funding for the operation was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Taylor added.
