Free Clinic Coming To LA In October For 3 Days

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Organizers of a 3-day free medical care clinic in Los Angeles will hand out wristbands in advance to avoid a crush of needy patients being turned away during the event.

CareNow will distribute the wristbands at the Los Angeles Sports Arena on Oct. 17 for the clinic, which will be held between Oct. 20 and 23.

Parking opens at 7 a.m., and wristbands will be distributed starting at 1 p.m.

Organizers say they hope to avoid large crowds camping out by handing out numbered wristbands in advance.

The clinic will provide free dental, medical and vision care to the uninsured and underserved.

Organizers say they will also provide follow up care after the event.

Well, looks like there will be a million illegals lined up waiting to be handed another free service. I bet regular people will not be able to see a doctor because the illegals will bring their 10 children, not to mention their relatives will be coming from Mexico.

Vote Ron Paul he will stop all services to illegals and repeal the 14th.

Careful now… your ‘attitude’ and hate towards other human beings may cause you to get sick. Keep in mind that “all those BEAUTIFUL children, legal or illegal WILL be working hard as young adults and CONTRIBUTING to social security so that YOUR HATEFUL, dried up, sorry azz will someday ‘retire’.
….It is for everyone and STOP WHINING, yo azz is welcome to come.

How exactly are those illegal children going to be working???? Oh, that’s right… they will attend the “get your social security number here” clinic.

People are really misinformed when they believe the poor have no medical coverage there are free clinics all over LA and let’s not forget County Hospital.

    • Edgar Alvarado

I think the misinformed one is you my friend. Free clinics are few and far between and usually only cater to a few that can be diagnosed with little or no modern equipment and/or lab work and little or no followup. if they find something really wrong with you they send you to county where you can wait up to two days to be seen and then you have to qualify as an emergency to be treated or you r out of luck.

  • Jeannine Suibielski

Yet another ignorant misinformed person who thinks the only people who need medical services like this are illegals. I went to the RAM clinic in May 2010 and it was almost all ‘merikans my friend. Hardworking folks who don’t have the “luxury” of medical or dental care Whether because they can’t afford their companies premiums, the co’s don’t offer insurance, they work just under 40 hours and don’t qualify, or like me have serious preexisting conditions and no insurance company will insure you. Open your eyes around you for a change and get your head out of the sand and maybe put down the X-box controller every now and then to see that “regular joes” who are your friends or neighbors can’t afford health care.
