Underdog Trojans Look For 12th Straight Win Over ASU

(CBS) -- The USC Trojans are ranked in the top 25, the Arizona State Sun Devils are not.

-- The Trojans have won 11 consecutive games against ASU.

-- The last time the Trojans lost in Tempe, 1997 when the late Bruce Snyder was in charge of the Sun Devils.

Despite all this, it's unranked ASU who is favored on Saturday night.

There are many good reasons for ASU to be favored.

Consider the past two wins by the Trojans over the Sun Devils have been by a combined six points and ASU was ranked after beating the Missouri Tigers.

ASU fell out of the most recent poll after their three point loss at now #23 Illinois.
