AGUA DULCE (CBS) —A fire that broke out Saturday morning near Agua Dulce is now 80 percent contained.
The so-called Mint Fire burned more than 600 acres in Mint Canyon near Sierra Highway. More than 300 firefighters attacked the blaze from the air and ground.
Their biggest concern was keeping the fire out of Bouquet Canyon where there are 12 homes, power lines and a water reservoir.
What sparked the fire is under investigation. Officials are looking into reports of late-night parties in that area.
