ANAHEIM (CBS) — Angel Stadium employees ratified a new contract Tuesday night that includes pay raises and retains bonuses for postseason games.

The union members will receive a 25-cent hourly wage increase retroactive to Sept. 4, a 25-cent increase for the 2013 season and a 30-cent increase for the 2014 seasons, according to Mike Chavez, a spokesperson for the union representing stadium employees.

Janitors, ushers and ticket-takers at Angel Stadium are reportedly the lowest-paid at any of the major stadiums in California.

According to the SEIU United Service Workers, the union representing workers at the stadium, Anaheim’s attendance is the fifth-highest in Major League Baseball.
