STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Volunteers from around Los Angeles are coming together on Sept. 11 to make a difference.
David Levinson visited the KCAL 9 studios Friday to talk about Sunday’s effort.
In remembrance of the 10th anniversary of September 11th, Big Sunday is hosting a community-wide Food Drive and the “Bringing People Together” Breakfast. The idea behind this effort is to recognize the solemnity of the occasion by channeling collective endeavors into positive activities like volunteering and coming together to build community. Between 300 and 500 people are expected to participate on Sunday, 9/11.
