Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (September 6)

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Hot weather will grace us for the middle of this work week. Downtown temperatures will be well into the 90s and valleys will be sweating above 100 degrees. The high pressure to the west is dominating our weather...it's also pulling up that tropical moisture so we are seeing a considerable increase in our humidity levels today. There is a steady stream of moisture to the east of the basin...so Riverside County and San Bernardino County do have a chance at some showers today. That flow cuts off tomorrow and we will see a drier pattern for Wednesday and Thursday...which will up our fire concern. Look for some cooling by the end of the week and weekend.

Coastal - low 80s
Basin -low to mid 90s
Valleys - 100s
Mountains - upper 70s
Deserts - 100s
