2 USC Students Injured In Shooting At Party Near Campus

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A University of Southern California student was shot in the chest at a weekend party near the school and remains in guarded condition.

Police spokesman Bill Smith says the student, whose name is not being released, was at a party when a fight erupted and he was shot Sunday morning shortly after 2 a.m. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he underwent surgery.

A second student, identified as a woman, reported hand injury which was not considered serious.

Authorities have not yet arrested a suspect.

Why would any football player or student want to go to USC. USC is now a loser both on and off the football field. Recruits might want to go to Oregon or the SEC where there is a decent change to win a championship in a safe environment with better coaching. Having lived in LA anyone knows that that environment is extremely dangerous and the education at USC is highly overrated as is the football team. Only someone who reads the amateur corrupt scamming Bleacher Reports would consider USC a safe site.

Dearest misguided: Stop bickering about football, race, politics… two persons have been injured. What should we do to prevent stuff like this? I say do a body search upon party arrivals and try to get to know who you hang out with, but that requires too much thinking i guess.

I have a hard time feeling sorry for anyone who supports, loves, glorifies criminality, thuggerism and then cries about it.

Luckily no one was killed but if you live by the sword, even if you use gang-associated products like Dr. Dre’s Beats overpriced junk (yes, amazing that today, gang bangers have million dollar making products), its bound to attract just that sort of violence.

And whats up with that USC Security/Police… I mean they are EVERYWHERE around USC and they weren’t around on this one? I really thought they had their stuff together. Very odd.
