LOS ANGELES (CBS) — An unidentified woman was shot in the face while sitting in a car in South Los Angeles Wednesday morning.

The shooting near 120 W. 111th Place occurred about 9:45 a.m., and the woman was taken to a hospital, Los Angeles police Officer Karen Rayner said.

Two people were believed to have been detained, but it was unclear if they had been booked for a crime this afternoon.

The woman’s name and condition was not released.

    Many Blacks, especially the younger ones, have NO RESPECT for the rights of other people or their property.

    You can take the animal out of the jungle. But you can’t take the jungle out of the animal. That’s why lions, tigers and gorillas are kept in cages at the zoo.
