Man Driving In Watts Fatally Shot By Sniper Fire

LOS ANGELES (WATTS) — Officials say a man driving in Watts was fatally shot by a gunmen shooting from a distance with a rifle.

A bullet hit the driver in the head as he was driving on Grape Street near 105th Street, just after midnight.

The motorist crashed his vehicle into a fence, according to the Los Angeles Police watch commander at the Southeast Station.

Police are investigation where the shot came from.

The victim was believed to be in his 30s. His name was withheld pending notification of his family.
