Lake Elsinore Police Hunting Man They Say Sexually Battered Girl On Way To School

LAKE ELSINORE (CBS) — Police in Lake Elsinore are looking for a suspect they say sexually battered a girl on her way to high school.

Officials said the man accosted and assaulted the girl twice Friday at 5:30 a.m.

Today, they released a sketch of what they say the man looks like.

The girl was on her way to a bus stop on Grape Street when police said the man encountered her.

She said two black males followed her as she walked southbound on Summerhill Drive.

The alleged victim says one of the men approached her as the other stayed further behind. She says the man first made several lewd comments then sexually battered her.

After she arrived at the bus stop, she says the same man battered her again through her clothing.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20-21. She said he was 5 feet 5-6 inches tall, about 160 pounds. He has a black afro and wore a red ball cap with white letters. The girl said the man was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and had a red back pack.
