Report: Weaver Agrees To Massive Extension To Stay With Angels

(CBS) -- The Angels have called a press conference for Tuesday afternoon where they are expected to announce a contract extension with All-Star Jered Weaver.

It is believed to be a five-year, $85 million extension that would make him the highest paid pitcher in Angels history.
Torii Hunter's $90 million contract is a team record.

Weaver was eligible to become a free agent after next season and is a client of Scott Boras.
