Car-To-Car Shooting Wounds Woman, 14-Year-Old Daughter In Watts

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A woman and her 14-year-old daughter returning home from a wedding were caught in the crossfire of a car-to-car shooting in Watts.

The shooting, which happened about 11:45 p.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of East of 108th Street, is believed to be gang-related, Los Angeles police Sgt. P. Johnson said.

According to Johnson, one of the suspect vehicles was a sport utility vehicle, while the other a compact car.

The woman is listed in stable condition. She suffered a gunshot wound to her left hand.

Her daughter, however, is critical after being wounded in the torso.

Boot camp for all gang members, and for all these youths in flash mob. Heck boot camp should be mandatory for all youths these days.

Are there going to be demonstrations, Maxine Waters and Earl Hutchinson and Jesse Jackson calling for justice, and vigils demanding vengeance? Oh wait, it was two innocent people wounded by criminals, not a big deal to them. Disregard.

    • Crazy World

      Absolutely, Roger. And, I’m black.

    • Crazy World

Actually, Earl has made a few efforts but no one really gives him an ear. Water and Jackson are full of hot air.
