SUN VALLEY (CBS) — Five people have been injured, one seriously, in an accident on the 5 Freeway in Sun Valley.
 

The crash was reported at 3:07 p.m. Friday on the northbound lanes near Tuxford Street and was backing up the afternoon commute, according to officials.

The California Highway Patrol says five people were injured, one of them seriously. They were taken to the hospital with the help of some soldiers who stopped to assist.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
