Crews Rescue 2 Climbers Stranded On 300-Foot Cliff In Chatsworth
CHATSWORTH (CBS) — Rescue crews descended from ropes to rescue two teenage climbers stranded on a cliff at a Chatsworth park.
Firefighters helped the climbers, stuck on the western ledge of Stoney Point Park, safely reach the ground below, Los Angeles Fire Department Brian Humphrey said.
The two climbers, both 18 years old, were not injured, Humphrey said.
The climbers were wearing sneakers and t-shirts, and not using equipment while traversing the 300-foot-high ledge.
