Anthony Quinn's Son, Francesco, Dies At Age 48

MALIBU (CBS) — Francesco Quinn, the 48-year-old son of legendary actor Anthony Quinn has died, a sheriff's official has confirmed.

Sgt. Arnold, Watch Commander at the Malibu/Lost Hills station, tells CBS2 and KCAL9 that Quinn was apparently running Friday night when he had an unspecified medical event and was unconscious.

Quinn was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to Arnold. No foul play is suspected.

Francesco Quinn had followed his father's steps into the industry and had roles in the movie "Platoon," and TV shows like "The Shield" and "24."

He was also a regular on CBS' "The Young and The Restless."
